I recently received Broadway Nails Impress Press-On Manicure as a gift from Influenster. The  retail price of the nails is $5.99 - $7.99. They come in a cute little plastic case that's shaped like bottle of Nail Polish, includes 24 Nails, a mini nail file, and a mini prep pad. I received the Sexy Fresh pattern which featured a sexy purple and blue feathered look ( also had a orange and pink feathered look too) and I absolutely loved the colors and design of them. With these nails you are supposed to be able to wear these up to a week long but the adhesive on the back of the nails didn't stick long for me. So I decided to give them a second try using the Super Glue and now it's a perfect manicure. I myself forget that I applied these nails on by myself they really look like a professional applied them on! Apply these on right and it will look just as is if you paid that $20 - $40 at the salon to get them done. They're really great! So many  different styles and beautiful patterns to choose from. I absolutely loved the pattern I received and I'm definitely going to get these again! They have a nice nude & lace pattern/style that I just have to own! I love these nails! Makeup Review

Bobbi Brown Cosmetics -
Long-Wear Even Finish Compact Foundation : This an amazing foundation, it's priced at $46.00, it comes in 20 shades, I purchased  two shades,  Almond and Warm Walnut. I really love the full coverage and texture of this foundation. It doesn't dry out my skin like most foundations normally do. It's light weight which I love because it let's my skin breathe.  I love the fact that there are so many shades to choose from, making it very easy to find your perfect shade. I really don't like the fact that this is supposed to be a 12-hour long wear foundation, but realistically it only last about 5-6 hours and then I would have to start re-applying it several areas around my face. However, that's really not a big problem to me, overall this is still a great product. This is one of the only foundations that actually gives me complete coverage without my face looking dull in certain areas. I love this! I'm a huge fan of Bobbi Brown Cosmetics, her products really deliver! I definitely recommend you to try her products, especially if your a makeup guru.

About a month ago I received a couple free samples from them because I had never heard of their products and I wanted to know just how well their products worked before I throw my money into purchasing beauty products from them. They sent me samples of their blemish control cleanser¹, blemish clearing serum², and their oil-free moisturize³.

My final words on the 3 products I tested:
The blemish clearing cleanser was great! It wasn't to soapy as most cleansers tend to be, it smelled great! It has a nice fruity & clean smell, imedimediately after rinsing this cleanser off, my skin was amazingly soft. It didn't itch nor irritate my skin.
The blemish clearing serum has salicylic acid which is great for treating acne and blemishes, goes on smooth, has a great smell like the cleanser, hydrates my skin and it's light-weight.
The oil-free moisturizer easily absorbs, great texture, and leaves my skin feeling soft, hydrated, and perfectly moisturized.
Not only do they specialize in great skincare products, but they also have great makeup & haircare products too. I recommend Juice Beauty cosmetics to everyone looking for that perfect skincare/makeup product that doesn't cost a fortune. Their prices are amazing!

Get fit with me!

So I haven't been very active on my blog due to graduating, working out alot, and touring different beauty schools. I do apologize for being so inconvenient but I'm happy to announce that within the last  week and 1/2 I have managed to lose 4 pounds and a couple inches off my waist! I know its not alot to celebrate but this is just the beginning and that small loss is what motivates me to keep going. I do want to share a couple of things that has aided me throughout my weight-loss challenge:
#1 Eating less! I'm not dieting nor counting calories because I always fail at keeping track of what I eat. So the best thing for me to do is just eat less, decrease my sugar intake, and try to eat healthy!
#2 Exercising about 3 times a week! I try to get a good exercise in whenever there is time. I use a couple of great apps workout videos to aid me into getting great results, not only do I want to lose weight but I'm aiming to keep my girlish/curvy figure. Daily leg workout, Daily arm workout, Virtua Gym, & Nexercise are my go to apps. YouTube videos has also been working for me! I subscribe to befit's channel and they have tons of effective workouts.
#3 Staying Motivated! I don't get much support from my family, but alot of friends and people I communicate with online gives great support and motivation. I feel as though if I gave up on this fight I would be letting them down. So to prove to them that I can succeed I just keep on striving to reach my weight-loss goals.

Got oily skin? There are lots of solutions for your problem, some are expensive and some are not. The best way to deal with your skincare problems is to find a solution that won't hurt your pockets. Finding a inexpensive solution is always easy because instead of going out to buy new products you can just use many of the household products you already own. Here is a simple and effective facial scrub that can aid in your fight against oily skin. This scrub aslo helps you get rid of your dirt and the superficial dead skin. Use this a couple times a week.  Take two teaspoon of fine bran with a quarter of dried yeast and one teaspoon of lemon juice along with a table spoon of water. Gently massage the thick paste so formed in the skin, specially on and around the nose and chin area. Don't apply around the eyes. Wash it after 1-2 minutes using warm water. Notice the simple ingredients?

Ponds luminous clean Review!

So I received the pond's luminous clean towelettes from influenster a few days ago. I won the towelettes in a influenster twitter brand challenge, that honestly I wasn't expecting to win. I was extremely happy to receive these for free! So call me the Freebie Queen! As you could see by now I love freebies! This is my first time trying something from the Pond's brand and I'm surprised that these towelettes actually are great!
They are draw out trapped makeup & impurities to brighten dull skin. I love that they are:

The towelettes comes in a great packet that completely locks in moisture, the only downside to these wipes has to be the smell! I hate the masculine smell, but overall this is a great product.

How to: The beyonce bun

Lately Beyonce has all the females searching YouTube and Google for a tutorial on her signature high-bun. Based on my own experience of styling this trend I have put together a easy how to tutorial for you to achieve your Beyonce high bun hairdo.
Step #1. Find a sock that is the same color as your hair color doesn’t have to be perfect, but if it does through, you don’t want it to be a totally differ color.
Step #2. Cut the off top of the sock and throw it away.
Step #3. Starting from the hole at the top, roll the sock down towards the bottom to form a doughnut
Step #4. If you want the top knot look, create a high ponytail on the top of your head.
Step #5. Put the tip of the ponytail inside the sock doughnut hole you’ve just created. Put your ha extension ends over the top of the sock and st moving your way down. Step #6. Tuck, roll and repeat.
Step #7. When the sock bun reaches the elastic of your ponytail, secure the ends with bobby pins. Step #8. Fill in any gaps around the top of the bun by spreading your hair out.
Now your done! I hope this tutorial helps you to achieve a perfect Beyonce bun!

5 RANDOM NATURAL HAIR CARE TIPS

#1° Dull + Damaged Hair can be treated by simply conditioning hair with Almond Oil and leaving it in overnight.

#2° Rinsing hair daily with Rosemary water can be very helpful when striving to grow your hair out.

#3° Sleeping on a cotton pillow case can dry out your hair. Opt for a silk pillow case. It helps keep your hair moisturized throughout the night.

#4°  For extra shine + glow rinse your hair with malt vinegar, after you shampoo + condition your hair.

#5° Hair growth depends on an enough diet. A general diet problem which causes loss of hair is iron deficiency Anemia. The reason is too little iron in blood, brought on by a diet containing too eggs, little meat, cereals or peas and beans. Fresh fruits and vegetables are also required to give vitamin C, which enables the body to absorb iron.

Daily beauty tips!

DIY Strawberry Face Mask: If you want clear skin, go for a cleanser that includes salycilic acid. If you suffer from dark spots, pimples or blackheads, a good remedy for your skin is a strawberry face mask. The salicylic acid found in this delicious fruit is used to cure bad skin. Simply mash 3 – 4 strawberries in a bowl and mix them with a tablespoon of sour cream. Let it rest on your face for about 5-10 minutes, rinse and repeat as frequently as you like. You will start to notice cleaner and clear skin in about 2 weeks.

Although I love getting a full-set done at the nail salon, I can't resist a good DIY Manicure! I recently discoverd Milani Nail Lacquer. I have only purchased two of their products so far but I'm already deeply in love with them. I absolutely love how much easier there products makes it to be creative when it comes to my nails. Their products goes on smooth, dries quickly, does not chip and leaves my nails silky with a perfect texture. My favorite product of their's is the Milani neon pink hottie nail Polish! It's a perfect soft medium pink tone that makes a Flirty statement without being outrageously pink. I purchased it at Walmart for $3.29 which is why I love their products so much because I have paid nearly $7 for a "so called luxury brand of useless nail Polish that should have been given away for free! I'm highly satisfied with the quality of their Polish and love how smoothly it comes off when I'm ready to remove it. I just check out their website and found some really pretty colors I can't wait to try! </p>

Best & worse of hair at 2013 Met Gala event!

This years Met Gala event which took place yesterday May 6, has a lot of people talking about the risky wardrobe the celebrities flaunted but surprisingly a even bigger talk was hair color! The theme of the event was Punk Couture, and Ann Hathaway stunned me with her platinum blonde hair color, along with the edgy/sleek cut and gorgeous black mesh gown the look left Hathaway looking sexy and chic! It was definitely a good look for her on her! My pick for the best of hair color at this years Met Gala: Punk Couture event goes to Ann H.! Her look was classic but edgy! On the other hand you know wherever there's a best there's a insane and outrageous worse! Nicole Richie unfortunately went a little to far with her platinum gray/whitish hair color! I understand she wanted to look risky and edgy for the event but, it didn't sit well with her tan + olive skin tone and her red wine colored lips nor the platinum colored dress she wore. The color makes her look older and crazy, its a little more Gothic than punk. I honestly think that she would have looked great with a darker hair color! Thinking outside the box doesn't compliment every look!

Your perfume will last longer by dabbing petroleum jelly onto pulse points before spraying on fragrance. (Perfume evaporates faster from dry skin.) And don’t forget to spritz ankles and behind your knees—scent rises. Do you have the need to overdo it with your perfume? Dab rubbing alcohol with a cotton ball on your skin. The alcohol will cut the scent without altering it.

ARCHIPELAGO BOTANICALS SAMPLES!

I been so busy with school and work today but nothing stops me from keeping my readers satisfied! As you know Im a huge skincare fanatic! So I have been searching for beauty/skincare, companies that offer free samples to their customers, I have found quite a few! I received alot of  samples by contacting these companies via.email, phone call, or by leaving a message on their website! So far i received samples from Archipelago Botanicals: They sent me 5 great smelling soy candles and a sample of their body crème. I like everything they sent but I'm in love with the Pineapple Ginger soy candle I got, the reason why is when I first open my mailbox I smelled a sweet candy-like fragrance as odd as it sound I didn't know what was in the package but when I got back home and open it I fell seriously in love with this candle. I'm eager to go back to their website and purchase the pineapple Ginger soy candle. Before i visited their site i didn't even know they sold candles, I had heard so much about their body creams and sprays and I wanted to try them out. But I'm very happy that I decided to try their candles out they are average sized samples and they're preferct for placing them in your bedroom, bathroom, car or just throughout your home wherever you place them there will be a noticeably lovely scent in the air. I love homemade beauty treatments, they help alot and  seems to be the only way to keep unwanted and harmful chemicals away from your skin that are present in most beauty products.  So if your searching for a great homemade facial treatment for oily skin here is something simple you can try. First make an egg mask to give your skin with nutrients. Secondly, mix up an egg white with chopped or macerated fresh mint, add 2 tablespoons of honey and then mix well . Finally spread the mixture evenly on your face for an hour and then rinse, dry and complete with a good moisturizer of your choice.

Daily Beauty Tips!

Here is how to acheive brighter, wider eyes: Apply a thin coat of mascara to both upper and lower lashes. For a more dramatic look, allow first coat to dry completely then apply a second coat concentrating on the base of the lash. And for a real eye-opener, use an eyelash curler before applying mascara. Curl gently at the base of the lashes, but never beyond the center of the lashes. Don't clamp down on one spot for too long or you'll get a sharp angle.
Also try not to pump the applicator wand in the mascara tube. Doing so will trap air inside and cause the mascara to dry out. Instead, twist the wand to collect more mascara on the brush.
